Friends of Calaveras Animal Services (FOCAS) is an animal welfare organization dedicated to enhancing a humane Animal Services program for the people and animals of Calaveras County, California.   Comprised entirely of volunteers, it is dedicated to relieving over-crowding at the county animal shelter through spay and neuter and community education; promoting the health of abused and abandoned animals; reducing unnecessary euthanasia; and helping to expedite the movement of homeless dogs, cats and other animals into permanent, loving homes.

FOCAS is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible.
